I've suffered from mild/moderate chronic fatigue syndrom (CFS/M.E.) for just under two years now. Concerned about my physical decline, I recently purchased a Wii Fit. I like the idea that I can do very short periods of exercise (1 or 2 minutes) at a very low level with a break in between, as it is very important in M.E. not to overdo things. I'd like to lose a little bit of weight but mostly I would like to improve my fitness. I'm embarassed to post my starting point but if I see a vast improvement then I'll post it with later results for comparison.
I'm on my fourth day of Wii Fit now. So far I've mostly been focussing on the balance and yoga exercises, although I have tried the aerobic ones and a few of the muscle toning ones. I don't do any exercise more than once per day and I only aim for 15-25 minutes of FitCash per day. I can definitely feel in my muscles that I've done some exercise, but haven't had any massive energy slumps yet. I'm hoping the short exercise periods and rests will prevent this.
I'm also taking UltraLife Max vitamin/mineral supplement which is supposed to aid the body's recovery and energy levels. I started this at the same time as the Wii Fit so I can't say what effect either of them is having individually!
